The founder of Wildberries has been shopping for himself on his own marketplace for 20 years
Tatyana Bakalchuk, the founder of Wildberries, was acknowledged by Forbes in 2021 as the wealthiest woman in Russia. She spends hundreds of thousands of rubles on her own marketplace, solely on her personal purchases, as reported by Peopletalk.
The successful entrepreneur mentioned that she has been shopping from her own platform for over two decades. The total amount spent on orders at Wildberries during that time sums up to 8,205,234 rubles. In simpler terms, that’s around 400 thousand rubles annually.
“I’ve been making more public appearances lately. So, I can’t wear the same outfit everywhere. It would be odd if you’re in one place today, another tomorrow, and you’re always in the same blue attire, which I adore,” she shared on “Шоу Воли”.
Tatyana Bakalchuk also stated that there are no special privileges for delivery or discounts. She mentioned that she earned all the perks by being a loyal customer.
